GHM Microbial ID/AST System
GHM Microbial ID/AST System
GHM--II Microbial ID/AST System based on latest microbial classification scheme, Microbial ID/AST System provides rapid and accurate species-level identification of clinically important pathogenic bacteria and yeasts. Strong software functions not only help clinicians to select the best antibiotics, but also provide the greatest help for the epidemiological investigation, drug resistance trend analysis and hospital infection management.
Features:
1. Optical Fiber Hole-by-Hole Scanning for Accurate Result;
2. LIS/HIS and WHONET support data input and output;
3. Latest CLSI and EUCAST criteria;
4. Analysis of antibiotic susceptibility and resistance phenotypes: PRSP test, ICR test, VRE test,HLAR test,MRSA test;
5. Bacteria Identification and antibiotic susceptibility test for: Enterobacteriaceae, Non-fermenting bacteria (including Catamora and Vibrio), Staphylococus, Enterococcus&Streptococcus,Yeast-likeFungi;
6. Intended Use: Microbial identification and antibiotic susceptibility test on cultured sample;
7. Specimen: sputum, stool, urine, blood, sterile body fluids, and tissues;
8. Application: clinical, emergency control center, blood stations, animal husbandry, environment and institutions;
9. Identification Principle: Colorimetry and Turbidimetry is used to interpret the changes in the bacteria's biochemical characteristics for the identification results;
10. AST Principle: Turbidimetry: According to the requirements of CLSI and EUCAST, 3-6 concentration gradients are designed for each antibiotic, the minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) is analyzed, and the AST results (S: susceptible; R:resistant; I :intermediate) are reported.
